At a signing with TRISTAR on Sunday, August 17th, Dontrelle Willis answered questions about everything from his favorite athletes to his most embarrassing moment.

Who is your hero?
WILLIS: My Mother

TRISTAR: Favorite Athletes to watch?
WILLIS: Michael Vick, John Smoltz

TRISTAR: What do you listen to before games?
WILLIS: Rap Music

TRISTAR: Which team did you look up to growing up?
WILLIS: All Oakland Teams particularly the A's

2000 after going 10-1 with a 0.70 ERA and 111 strikeouts in 70.0 innings… Scouted and signed by Steve Hinton (Cubs)… Makes his off season residence in Alameda, CA.

TRISTAR: When you were younger, which team did you want to play for?
WILLIS: Oakland A's

TRISTAR: What do you think of Lebron James? Do you feel in a similar situation being very young and successful in the majors?
WILLIS: I just hope he has a good mind set. Hope he has a good background and surroundings

TRISTAR:
What is your favorite bar/club on South Beach?
WILLIS:
I rarely go out

TRISTAR: Since you are of the ripe old age of 21, what is your favorite drink?
WILLIS:
Corona Beer

TRISTAR: Who would look better in a South Beach thong, J Lo or Tyra Banks?
WILLIS:
Both

TRISTAR: Do you have competition with Josh Beckett both being so young?
WILLIS: No not at all-We're a team and we want each other to do well

TRISTAR: Do you have any routines before your pitch?
WILLIS:
Eat the same foods; When at home - California Pizza Kitchen; On Road; Chicken

TRISTAR: Do you have any superstitions like not touching the line?
WILLIS:
I never touch the baselines

TRISTAR: Being in Miami, can you speak Spanish or are you stuck with Spanglish?
WILLIS:
Still stuck with Spanglish

TRISTAR: Best conversation you've had with a catcher on the mound?
WILLIS:
The conversation had nothing to do with baseball - had to do with what I was doing tonight

TRISTAR: How did it feel to be in the All Star game?
WILLIS:
Awesome to be a part of it, and I hope to attend many more

TRISTAR: Do you think you could've pitched a better 8th inning?
WILLIS:
No its just one of those things in baseball that happens

TRISTAR: Who is the best player you've faced so far?
WILLIS:
Albert Pujols

TRISTAR: Who would you rather pitch against, Barry Bonds or Albert Pujols?
WILLIS:
They both have power to all fields

TRISTAR: Here's a better question, would you rather pitch to… Bobby or Jeff?
WILLIS: Bobby's taller, he'd be tougher to walk.

TRISTAR: What do you do on off days?
WILLIS:
Just hang out at home and relax

TRISTAR: Which city has been the most fun?
WILLIS:
New York

TRISTAR: Any embarrassing moments so far?
WILLIS:
I ran out to warm up 30 minutes too early right in the middle of batting practice in my uniform. Everybody laughed at me.
